Who We Are

About ADAPT Housing

ADAPT Housing believes that finding the right place to live should feel empowering not overwhelming.

Our experienced team provides clear guidance throughout the SDA housing journey, helping participants understand their options, compare homes, and make informed decisions that reflect how they want to live. We carefully select homes in desirable locations, ensuring each property meets SDA requirements while remaining practical, accessible, and supportive of everyday living. ADAPT does not provide designated supports. This means participants retain full choice and control over who supports them and how, without being locked into arrangements that do not suit their lifestyle and goals.

What We Do

Our Vision

Our Mission

To support participants to find high‑quality Specialist Disability Accommodation that puts them first—empowering real choice, independence, and the way they want to live.

To support participants to find high‑quality Specialist Disability Accommodation that puts them first—empowering real choice, independence, and the way they want to live.

Our Story

ADAPT Housing was founded to improve how people access Specialist Disability Accommodation. At ADAPT, we go beyond compliance, creating homes that are liveable, practical, and designed around the participants.

Since 2017, we’ve worked across different SDA design categories and regions, partnering with participants, families, and sector specialists to deliver housing that supports real independence and everyday life. Our focus has always been on creating homes that work in the real world.

Our team brings together diverse experience across housing, design, development, and the disability sector. This breadth of knowledge helps us understand both the technical requirements of SDA and the lived experience of people who call these homes their own. By working closely with participants and those around them, we translate individual needs into thoughtful design and practical housing solutions.

This experience‑led, collaborative approach allows us to deliver housing that supports choice, dignity, and long‑term independence.
